Left over bulk substrate? Put it in fridge?
    #26175905 -

I have left over bulk sub. Coir, Verm, gypsum at field level.
I have a large glass jar I use to use for kombucha.
Putting it in the fridge. Syran wrap the top.
Figure if I pasturize before use I can use it for my next spawn?

Could just use it as a cvg cake if you have some leftover spawn or maybe some agar

Doesn’t look like it’s enough too worry about saving

That is a little bigger than I thought lol, I’m sure someone else will chime in, I’m not really sure how saving it would go

A month? Until I noc some grain and g2g and it's ready for bulk again.
I mixed all my shit up.. so I ended up having left overs twice. There is enough for a whole 66qt I suspect. So if I pasturize, I don't see why it wouldn't be okay right?

to be honest id use it as plant food and redo a fresh batch if its already hydrated.  Its just as easy to bucket tek as it will be to re-pasteurize that.

You can keep it in the freezer for 2-3 months. Just set it out for 24 hours before you use it. You could throw it in a freezer bag to use less space.

Well It was just bucket Tek'd.
Sitting in a glass jar..
Coir isn't so cheap..
I rather pasturize and not waste. I have tons of plants with lots of soul for each... I rather just pasturize.

It'll be fine. Just recheck for field capacity. I'd venture to say you could leave it out of the fridge and make up a tub in a month and be fine. Repasteurizing would be the safest route though.
