I'm morally opposed to artificial insemination 2

Did you know they pay white women under the age of 30 more money than anyone else to donate their eggs?
Quasi-eugenics aside, I find the idea of spending that much money to bring a new child into this world repugnant. I know it can be hard to get permission to adopt in the US, as well as expensive, but there are tons of options outside of the US. Little tiny babies, abandoned in the third world, facing an essential guarantee of a horrible existence without the intervention of another person.
But these people don't care. They are so privileged and so selfish they not only do this, but they feel good about themselves for it. People feel bad for them, Oh I'm so sorry pregnancy is so difficult for you, I'm so happy for you, blah blah blah.
I believe an abortion is a more moral act than artificial insemination. At least you aren't tossing another sad, unwanted person into existence. You might learn a lesson from the experience. What do these (let's face it, primarily upper class white people) learn from their experience? How to love a child? News flash, you don't love a baby because it came out of your pussy, you love a child because you wanted to care for and benefit another person.
I would prefer to not have a child of my own, but I would straight up leave a woman if she couldn't get pregnant and insisted on artificial insemination. I've loved almost every kid I've spent significant time around, I can't even imagine how much Id love them if I saved them from a living hell.

There are almost 200 million orphans in the world. Not just faraway lands, your city too.
Not to sound insensitive but if your puppy mill doesn't work like it's supposed to, take a hint and get one at the shelter.
So many children already in the world who need parents to make it through their formative years with the right life lessons learned, adoption is compassionate and rational.

My parents adopted two Guatemalan kids. My little Guatemalan sister has spina bifida.
She's a sweetie and this reminds me I need to find out what she wants for her birthday.

how does that work with a turkey baster?

Some people want a child biologically related to them.

100
foster homes are pipelines to homelessness or sex slavery. I'd never suggest a fertile couple to adopt over having their own kids but getting artificially inseminated with the sperm of some 6'4" college educated northern european is peak bourgie

Exactly, which is why artifical inoculation exists. I get that adoption route is the most highly praised but what if you want to pass on half your genes?
