    #26169890 - 09/05/19 12:00 AM (4 years, 6 months ago)

Hello everyone,

after cloning Macrolepiota procera with liquid culture left only two jars with probably mycelium, and one of this has some pink colors. Can you see and advice me what to do, throw away or plant its. Thank you.

Why clone to liquid culture? Wild mushrooms by nature have loads of contams on them and in them. Try to clone the M.procera to agar do a couple of transfers so that you have a pure culture and then make the grain spawn for your mushroom patch. Have you found any papers on how to grow these mushrooms?

The pink is a lost cause. I think ppl called it lipstick mold. Try looking that up in the search function.

Second one is iffy. Hard to tell if it's good or bad. Wait and see what happens.

I would put to agar first before anything next time. Try to clean it up before innoculating anything.
