best method for fruiting?! (newb grower)

I'm looking for the best method i could use to fruit these cubes once they're done colonising,i haven't got any perlite or whatever people have been using, im a fresh newb, is there any suggestions people could give? helpful information or a link to use?

Essentially you are using the jar and a bag as your fruiting chamber.

ya im done with ya now🖕 i belive i have proven my point cuz  that link u were o so happy with was in the same thing i was tellin u to click on in the other thread u deleted when your feelings got hurt just some advice before i fuck off dont be so thin skinned and learn to use the search engine on here its awsum and good luck with your moldy cardboard the teks r there for a reason and a substitute is almost always a failure follow the teks to the letter and then when u have a cpl grows under your belt play around if u wish but tryin to cut corners from the start is a good way to end up with a pile of moldy cardboard

Telling people to fuck off is a good way to not get the information you need and get a bad rep on here.  The search bar, as has been pointed out, is your best friend.  Many people spend hours searching this site to find the information they need.

There are a multiple teks out there that don't require perlite, such as the Shoebox Tek

he followed me from another post where he wasn't very helpful, and then came to this one with the same basically, but hey ho, im not here to make friends with people who don't really want to help, im thankful for the other people who are helping, like yourself, thank you for another method and understanding.

Happy to help.  My rule of thumb is that if someone is being unhelpful, ignore them.  It's a message board for growing shrooms - no need to take anything personally.  We're all here to learn!

Do you plan to fruit as a cake? Ive had great success with a humidity chamber. All you need is a lidded plastic tub, and coir, I love not having to drill holes in tubs!

Hell, you can use a sopping wet towel (I've done that in the HC) instead of coir.  Just change it out after a week - otherwise it'll start growing stuff and smell something awful.

It just needs to be in a humid place somewhere about 74F and get some air exchange.

A transparent tote is pretty ideal.  You'll need a spray bottle to go along with that.  It's better if the tote had wet perlite in the bottom but, in my experience, not necessary.  Just spraying has worked for me.

Nice job, by the way.  It looks good so far.  Very good for your first try.

When I did cakes, I liked to leave them in the jar until I saw pins.

Whatcha got on top of the jars?  Looks like micropore tape.

I would like to try, would that increase yeild rather than from the tub with a bag surrounding? I have a clear tub with holes already in that I can cover with the micropore tape, and yes I think I may go with the coir as it's pretty easy to get :smile:

Ahh awesome, yeah they should be fine where they are, a nice warm temperature,and yes I have picked up a spray bottle with a fine mist and a clear tub with holes already on the sides, I have already covered in the tape, I may replace the tape before hand just encase, but yeah,it's good that the perlite is not
detrimental in order for it to fruit, and yeah it's micropore tape, medical tape, I had read they where good after inoculation so went ahead :smile:

And thank you, I hope it turns out well! And yes I think I will do the same if all does go to plan, I will wait for a few pins before moving ahead!

Whats the plan with the coir?  You going to spawn it, or are you going to try use it as some kind of humidity booster in lieu of perlite?

Kinda unclear to me.

Yeah sorry, I think I'm going to try and use the coir for humidity in place of the perlite, next time around, I will have to try and get some perlite to use instead!
