has anyone ever considered gathering "graveyard dirt" for a protection ritual?

It's where you make an offering to a fallen solider, citizen,  or hero, and then use a tiny ammount of dirt from the top of the grave to enact black magic rituals..

Anyone?



What sort of offering did you make, and who was the hero that you chose?


Did you decide to not use protection but malice and grave gather from another more malicful source? like a person killed or murdered before their rightful time?


any information on experiences or tales or rituals involving graveyard dirt will be useful.

People live, but some people never die.

TO kill a dead person one must invoke terribly powerful magics; that seems simple, right?

Once a living person is dead, it seems simple to just invoke their spirit, doesn't it?>

But the toll it takes upon the still living is ever bearing and must not be performed often.

Be careful who's name you mention often and also aware of the ever present threat of death as you wade through this life.

I agree.

I'm not going into graveyards digging up peaceful graves.


Respectfully, certain graves call to individuals, and some have wandered for milliuniums waiting for people to find them.


This brings my thoughts back to 8th grade History class, where we were tasked with walking the local graveyard, which was huge, and making a chalk paper cast of the headstone..

I will look for that same grave, when I take a teaspoon, and leave a gift, for I know that spirit still wanders.



This is how I can help people. I think of course.



All I really need is a teaspoon of gravedirt.. and you can NEVER "take " it... you always have to ask

. Which means the person whose grave it is, is NOT resting peacefully.


Does that make sense >?

I know this is a troll thread, but I really hope no one actually does anything like that. But deep down, I get the feeling that somewhere, someone on the internet is probably fucked up enough to do it. I mean, not that there's necessarily anything inherently wrong with like the dirt at cemeteries or something, but... it's still kind of disgusting and creepy. Definitely creepy.

Beyond that, cemeteries and the dead should be respected. Digging up even a little dirt in a cemetery is disrespectful. I mean, it's not necessarily the end of the world, but it's still kindof fucked up. It's more just weird and bizarre and no normal person would do it.

I did get high and buy mushrooms in a graveyard once though.

You want to take away from the graveyard but not give back to it, so that you are in debt to it?

A dangerous affair.

Give to the graveyard.

Bring a grave candle and burn it at the central monument of the graveyard, to honor all the dead there. You may then lament your woes. Maybe a spirit is willing to do you a favor.

I hate visiting graveyards, I always pick up spirits thar are troubled.

My spirit guide asked me, if my health permits it, to visit Auschwitz during the early 2040s. Hoboy. :sad:

I forgot to mention that in no way shape or form would I be leaving the graveyard empty.

It's a time old truth that you can never take from the dead- only give to them.

So the plan was to use common things as you mentioned- songs- flowers- and of course coins.



That is *IF* I ever planned to use grave magic ... which I never would just yet. Some people call it voodoo- personally I don't have a name for it yet since I've never done it.


But I know it would be OK. It would probably be like smoking weed for the first time- for the dead person that is-  dredged up to do the work of the livin!
