Not a bad one in the bunch. I would say just about all of them were life-changing for me, to varying degrees. Of course, that list is a distillation of two decades of reading on the subject. It is, of course, by no means exclusive.

Sam Webster's Tantric Thelema is interesting, I am just starting to read it.  I am not a Thelemite or Buddhist but one doesn't have to be to gain something from them.

I agree with deff. If you like books, and they don't confuse you, and you take them with the appropriate level of seriousness, I think they can be very valuable to a lot of people. I admit, taken in the wrong way books can do harm. But taken in the right way, they can be useful and moving, and at times illuminating.

Mysticism and Philosophy by W.T. Stace, 1960 (not the 1987 version with Huston Smith although I greatly respect the late Huston Smith) is the single best book on mysticism I have ever read and I've read the classics (e.g., James, Bucke, Underhill).

Dang! And I bought a 1961 cloth-bound copy. That's OK, I like to underline and write margin notes. This is a truly deep and readable book.

"Living with the Himalayan masters" - Swami Rama

was recommended this book here on the Shroomery about 15 years ago when I had a diffrent user name, remember really liking it but went schizo, heard voice's telling me all my books were evil and threw it out, need to get this one again, I believe the miracles/stories in this book are true, soon to get it again, I do have "choosing a path" by Swami Rama, good campanion book to go with it.

"Autobiography of a Yogi" - Paramahansa Yogananda

also Believe the miracles/stories are true in this book, these two books are by yogi's for yoga lovers, straight up from the neck up yoga, it's like the Bible is still being written today with these 2 books.
