I've always been curious about what taking both psilocybin and lsd at the same time would be like. A friend of mine used to take 2 tabs and an eigth of shrooms at the same time. But he's one of those people who does drugs for the sake of getting fucked up. So I can't trust his word on it. Last week, I took about a gram of mushrooms, and impulsively took half a tab on top of it to see what it'd be like. But somehow I fell asleep shortly after it came on. I've never fell asleep on a psychedelic, no matter the dosage. So I'm a little thrown off by the results. I intend to take a higher dose of both some time, but I want to hear other people's opinions and experience first.

Go for it. You'll be fine. I've dosed both a few times and the only difference I could tell was having more vivid visuals. As for the falling asleep part; it happens sometimes. More than likely you're body was just tired when you dosed. I've fallen asleep after dosing shrooms and have just ended up tripping in my dreams. A few months ago I did do a dose and started to fall asleep but forced myself to stay awake. I kinda wish I didn't fight it because it wasn't a bad trip; but it wasn't necessarily a pleasant one either. So maybe you falling asleep worked out for the best:shrug:

Shrooms with acid at the same time is an awesome combo. Highly recommend! One of my favorite drug combos.

I haven't done high doses, but I have done 1 hit with a gram or more of shrooms. Its wonderful. Very psychedelic, great blending together of the trip.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I've never combined shrooms with acid, but I've always wanted to try. Tons of other people say it's a great combo, IF you're an experienced psychonaut. That has got to be a serious combo, definitely not the kind of thing you do lightly.

I've always felt like each has the exact thing that the other lacks.

I would mostly agree, but if you take a small dose of each, its really manageable.

I find about .9 grams of shrooms with a half a hit of good acid is a very smooth trip. The synergy is incredible. One of the best drugs combos Ive ever done.

I've never tried LSD so I wouldn't be the one to ask. I can't fathom needing or wanting to mix anything with mushrooms, but more experienced psychonauts (like those above) may think and feel differently! Trip with care!

Stay the fuck away from LSD when on mushrooms

smoke bufotenine at the mushroom peak instead.
It amplifies visuals 10 fold.
But this is a game for tier 5 shamans only

In the dark you'll be able to see your thoughts projected
in front of you like a movie screen.

Whatever u imagine, u see.
So u can traumatize yourself if ur not a tier 5 shaman

I like the combo, takes the edge off the acid and gives legs to the mushies. Would recommend.  :earthy:

All I see are extremely polarizing answers on this question, lol. Another user just made a thread regarding suggested LSD dose to combine with mushrooms, and again it's all over the place in there. Is there actually a consensus or is this an area that's still entirely anecdotal for Shroomery?

I don't think there's a consensus to be had, we can't even decide as a group whether mushrooms or LSD are better.  :lol:

There's one way to find out if it works for you, buy the ticket...

Psychedelics are inheritely subjective. Therefore is no consensus on it. Its up to you to descide if u like the combo :shrug:

One of my personal faves. No, it is my favorite because I never take macro doses of LSD anymore without a mushroom follow up.

I always start out with the LSD then half way through a 2-5 grams of mushrooms depending on how my set is still doing.

I like how the LSD visuals that are IMO pretty predictable change and come alive when the mushies hit mid trip. 
Nothing like looking at straight line fractals then all of a sudden the classic mushroom eyeballs come out to stare at you and the geometry is no longer straight line but flowing all around and alive by there own will.  I become immersed in ecstasy and wonder. 

I always get a big smile and exclaim to myself, oh yeah,,,,, Thats the stuff!!  :spinhalf:  :sexymeow: 

Also noticed I fall asleep much much quicker as well.
Every time I just wake up in the morning not remembering when I fell asleep. With just LSD its like, well visuals are pretty much gone and sleep would be nice.  :resignednonacceptance:

On a side note don't be fooled into thinking your gonna have a high tolerance for the mushrooms and eat 6 grams of mush to compensate. Start shallow and test what your gonna be in for. As little as 1.5g easily changes the perspective. It is almost like the LSD potentiates the mushrooms from what I've experienced. :cheers:

Great posts. I have always wondered about this. The thing is that I have never encountered or even seen the LSDizzle before. The main vendor just closed in a fucked up timing way for me in particular. Where else to obtain for 'research'?

I would imagine dosing as above. Time it midway thru lsd and dose the shrooms. I imagine them meshing together to amplify each other. But Ill never know :frown:

I understand this. Perhaps I should have asked if there was a SCIENTIFIC consensus on suggestibility of mixing these compounds. So it's all anecdotal? I think you guys answered my question lol.

I have been listing to podcasts with a lot of people in the know on all the mental health studies going on and they it helps because it can bring up old emotional trauma and allow you view or even experience it again but this time you get a different view since your brain is making all sorts new non standard connections.
Maybe there is something there that could benefit from a little reflection/integration.

I have done this on several occasions and it comes highly recommended from me. I went swimming and watched movies the whole time. I took 1.5 with 1 tab and 3 hours later took another 1.5 with another tab to re up. It really is such a combo. You get the heavy body load of the shrooms mixed with the clean mind alterations of the lsd and it really makes for an amazing and enlightening experience. If you are experienced with them seperate then together they will thrive

It’s actually mostly the weed responsible for things like that and any paranoia. I actually support the idea of neurogenesis especially with some mushroom consumption, although it mostly depends on the kind. Brain fat can be important, but mushrooms are mostly carbs.
