Edible Mutant Mushroom/Mycelium?

I searched the forums with keywords 'mutant' and 'mushroom' but wasn't able to find anything quite like this.

They seem to be really thick clumps of mycelium, with apparent stems forming. When I picked a small sample a few days ago and squeezed it, it felt like a really dense sponge and some water got squeezed out. The smell is all mushroom. No signs of obvious contamination in the tub.
Would you eat it?

Dude, is your water radioactive, supplemented, or do you use Lysol or similar aerosol products? Just curious. From my limited research those are blobs and are safe for consumption but I'd wait for more opinions to chime in.

From the discord it seems that these are not GT, but rather oysters (error on the vendors part). I've started alacabenzi strain and if the same thing happens it's either the spores or the water. I live in an old apartment, and the pipes here most likely aren't the best either.
