Cloned mushrooms make great agar plates.

Anyone ever notice that,  or have I just been lucky.

They pretty much always present that symmetrical, even, healthy-looking  ryzomorphic agar plate we like to transfer from.

Is there much point messing around with isolates from spore germination plates?  Bad word there, isolates, because what you get from spore germination plates are not isolates.  I want to call that polyisolates.
