First mono attempt. Contam or Paranoia??

Hello everyone!

I am working on my first monotub (have been following all of bods teks and have been enjoying myself seeing this stuff grow and learning! If you are bored enough you can see my first post here: https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/26130962)

I just hit the 6 day mark on this tub and am concerned about the bottom left corner.... It doesn't seem green. But more of a grey/lighter white? Is it just weaker myc or is that the beginning of contam?

I was worried about it getting too dry at first and started misting anytime it looked dry / didn't have little beads of water. But now I'm worried I may have misted too much lol. The other thing is that the tub doesn't smell off or sour right now. Just that earthy / mushroom smell that I see people talk about. Anyways, what do you guys think? Am I just being paranoid and it's too early to tell? Any and all input / pointers are galdy accepted :smile:

I think I'll be listening to some other recommendations and on the next tub I will definitely be doing a casing layer or a thin layer of coir!
