So.  let me tell you bout a man name... oh wait wrong story.

So I has a jar.
I declared jar (contaminated)

I Shoeboxed said contaminated jar (or as I had selected contaminated.

3 weeks later,  the  Mono  was done.
and the shoebox, ... was as dead as it was when I started.

So.  I garbaged what was in the mono.    and tossed the  shoebox into the garage. ......

well I forgot about it.

I looked up today.  to see the biggest,  most ridiculous spory mess, of giant shrooms, I have had to date.    all packed into the lidded  shoebox,  like a sandcastle,  of mushroom and spore.

even though it had all gome to spore,  it is in the dehydrator now.  Still so sad.    It cannopied,  covered clean,    grew huge,  and spored.  all  from exile.

I want to cry.  The neglected dead, contaminated shit does best.

The shoebox didn't even appear to colonize?  Is that what you are saying?  Then it flushed beautifully?

That is fucking crazy. 

How long did it sit there for after you threw it away before you checked it to find mushrooms?

Hahahaha I did this once! Threw out what I thought was contam with some unused bulk sub mix and forgot about it....Botta boom botta bing shrooms are pushing out the bag saying hello :awesomenod:

Not sure about enjoying them.  Little past date. All spores out.  Not rly how I want them.  Will scale later.  For timeline....  had to be 2-3 weeks.  My mono ran full course,  reading above,  may have been tired.  The mono did fine,  the contamination into shoeboxes.  2 weeks later,  I was harvesting from mono,  and tossed the shoebox.  2+ weeks after that, shoebox was banging.  Will get some sleep and count days.  I work nights, hardly know what day it is.  Still getting fistfuls of small fruits from monos,  nothing bigger than 20g wet  90% of it 5g wet / fruit... or less
