When are y’all gonna realize that the Democrats (and their owners) would much rather be the feckless opposition party than the party in control? Even now, they’d rather lose with Biden than win with Sanders.
Winning means they have to govern. And governing means doing what their base wants. And what their base wants is the opposite of what their donors want.
I mean look what happened in 08. Fucking supermajority and they can’t even get a public option. Couldn’t even get card check. Fucking made the bush tax cuts permanent, and THEN putting cutting social security on the table.
And that’s all with a Kissinger grown neoliberal establishment robot like Obama. Imagine the mandate from the public if a democratic socialist won, not only the nomination, but the presidency.
In a political system dominated by corporations, the Democrats are nothing more than controlled opposition. A blow off valve for when the much more blatant GOP oversteps and pisses off the public.
Oh you’re mad about Bush? Here’s Clinton with his saxophone and coolness but we’re still gonna do imperialism and deregulation. Oh you’re mad about the second Bush? Fine here’s the cool black guy who’s eventually fine with gay people, but we’re still gonna do imperialism and deregulation.
And here it comes again with literally any Democratic candidate other than Bernie. “Trump is bad, we need a return to normalcy.” Aka let’s go back to 2015 where we still did all the same shit we are now, but without trump screaming it through a megaphone.
This is why I'm thinking Elizabeth Warren is the best we can hope for. Whether it's his own fault or he's getting screwed by the MSM or the DNC, Bernie does not appear to be emerging. This could all change by Super Tuesday, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Ya, Warren has been getting too much support from the mainstream media, and that's why she's gaining. I don't trust her much for that reason, the reasons in your video, and for reasons others have noted.

She's on tape telling health insurance representatives that medicare for all will never happen.
I won't be voting for her.
Medicare for all will help more people in this country than any other piece of proposed legislation. Environmental legislations are a close second.

He’s within the margin of error of 1st place in 3 of the first 4 primary states.
That said, I think the fact that they’ve both taken a hands off approach to one another is smart if Bernie doesn’t secure the nomination. Warren won’t be able to turn her back as easily. Regardless of what happens, Sanders and his movement aren’t going away. That gives me hope for holding the next Democratic administration to account, whoever it may be (although I’d obviously prefer Warren if it’s not Sanders).

Hmm, The Establishment owns a politician like Warren and orders her to spew "tax the rich" rhetoric to get elected. Then once elected, well we all know the rest of the story.

I mean yeah that’s exactly what’s happening. Adopt some of Bernie’s rhetoric to siphon some support away from him (mostly upper middle class whites), thus protecting Biden’s lead and, if he fails, the establishment can line up behind Warren and overtake Bernie. It’s already happening.

If nothing else Warren will push bank regulation. Another recession will always come, but let's at least try to avoid another great recession (at least for a while).

No doubt, the Banksters love writing the next "bank regulation" for their own benefit.

Bernie is the only one with a shot at Trump, Warren isn't even a fair contest.

I don't think Bernie realistically has a chance.
He will bankrupt his donors and the country.
Most people don't support that.

How will Bernie bankrupt people with free healthcare and free college?
He'll ask the super rich to pay a little more so everyone else pays less.

Like I said Bernie is within the margin of error in 3 of the first 4 primary states, and is consistently polling ahead of Warren nationally.
I’m not worried about Warren because “omg I might get owned for being a Bernie bro,” it’s because she’s two faced and has already begun to walk back her progressive agenda. And it’s no coincidence that the media and political establishment are lining up behind her.
“But she’s a wonk!”
Yeah and Obama was a constitutional scholar, didn’t stop his administration from drone striking an American citizen or refusing to close Gitmo, NSA surveillance, etc.

When you keep taxing billionaires at insane rates over time, billionaires begin to disappear. Some will move money out of the country, some will stop taking risks and sit just below the tax line for large taxes, and some will fail.
I suspect moving money out of the country and then downgrading to upper millionaire will be much more popular -- until we start taxing them.

So billionaires would rather be hundred millionaires than getting taxed on billions?
Either way, I don't see how this bankrupts the country.

It doesnt at all...and if billionaires were being "insanely" taxed they wouldnt be billionaires by way of taxation...most billionaires pay much less by percentage in taxes than the average Joe. Ask Warren Buffet.
