First Grow

Hello Everyone!
First time grower here. I’ve lurked for a few years and the opportunity presented itself for a first time grow recently. I’m going to post a few pictures here for you guys to take a look and I’ve got a few questions. I have searched around regarding my questions but some clarification is always nice when you’re new!

1: how do these guys look so far?
2: I feel that the cakes are quite moist but the mushrooms look almost kinda dry? Possibly low humidity?
3: how does the set up look?
4: I only use the window as a light source and the sun only hits that window at about 5 o clock on, is this alright?
5: there are a couple white dots that I haven’t seen before, are those pins? On same cake these is a white spikey mound, what does that look like?
6:  You’ll notice I’ve elevated 2 of the cakes as there was a bunch of water sitting on the foil so I wanted to get some air flow there, good idea?

The strain is Huatla. The cakes have been in the fruiting chamber for 13 days now. Room temp is on average 72. Mist and fan between 3-5 times a day.

Thanks! i did dunk and roll. forgot to mention it though. dunked for 20 hrs then rolled, tried to get as much verm on as possible. next time ill grind up some verm to get a better layer of it. but as its been going the myc has taken over a lot of it.
