ok. I'll have to look into it more than and check since you and quirk are on the same track. People round here seem to be down with it though, haven't heard stuff like that. The major warning I hear is dosage because it's easy to do a large incapacitating dose.

Bufotenine is a poison that has to be ingested. yes it's potentially deadly, it kills dogs occasionally. But you'd have to get the fresh compounds in your mouth, that's why drying & vaping is how it's done because it doesn't poison you. It just doesn't work when inhaled like that, breaks down the poisons or atleast inert through inhalation.

It's not really that uncommon to do this if you live near these guys apparently.

5-meo isn't something you should do alone.
Unlike DMT we extract from bark; there is a chance it will cause respiratory depression and not recommended for people with weak hearts due to how it raises the heart rate significantly.  :imdying:

Inspired by another thread:

I confess I am lazy as fuck.
My work\life schedule does not lend itself well to this hobby. My free time is very broken up. I have thrown away so many jars of grain because I started prepping them one day, and was too tired from work to get back to them until they had gone bad. Same goes with prepping substrate and PCing. Prep it one day, let it cool overnight, plan on finishing in the morning or after work but end up being too tired or too busy to deal with it and it just sits.
My GF and I have not had the same day off since January so we can only see each other before\after one of us works which complicates it more. Some days I really want\need to get things done (for any one of my hobbies), but to avoid a huge fight I have to make time for her.
.... I need another two-week camping trip.

I confess... I'm excited to be ramping down my mycology work to go camping next week. I've needed a break, and I've come to accept there's only so much I can do to fix the problems I've been dealing with.

DiMiTri IS a lot of fun to work with. I'd like to buy some more bark just to make some more even though I have enough DiMiTri to last a long, long time. Havent been to the other side in months. Sciencey...

I confess that last night me and four friends took mushrooms.
After 12 hours of tripping eating mushrooms from a open big bag on the tables from time to time during this whole time. One of the girl was standing up for about 1 minute looking at her phone and then dropped her phone on the floor and feel against the wall and by that time I had time to catch her before she hit her head on the floor in the living room where we all were.

She started to shake a lot from about 3-5 seconds? Not very long but I was still tripping so hard to say because we where all panicking inside right away.
I was just about to call an ambulance as she came back to it.

We had her laying down for about 15 minute before moving her to the sofa.

What could of happened?
We where all so scared!
I think, because she had not eaten anything for about 10-12 hours, she stood up to fast, but were tripping so hard that she didn't feel that she got lightheaded and should of tried to sit down. Since she didn't hit her head or anything the shacking was the scary part.

After making sure she was ok for about 2 hours more we were all so tired and needed to sleep. I had a hard time falling asleep being scared for her.

Anyone had sometime similar happen to friend or them self?
She does not remember anything only us being over her as she woke up again.

It sounds like she was having minor convulsions, maybe even a very mild seizure? This could have happened for many reasons, but the most reasonable explanation for a totally average person would be:

Sensory overload, of even just the intensity of a trip, is more than enough to cause fugue states, delirium, catatonia, and in serioous cases, seizures.

She just had too much too fast..
Most likely. The next best explanation is an entire list of underlying problems with seizures being a symptom.

something similar has been discussed kinda recently. starting to think of this as, for lack of a better term, a psychedelic "overdose." i feel like the shaking was like a death rattle, her nervous system reacting to suddenly losing consciousness. i get that blood pressure drop all the time. if i fell out from that during a heavy trip, i can't imagine what i'd do. but then, if i was tripping that hard, i wouldn't be looking at my phone.

i wouldn't worry about it unless it happens again.

There is a name for that that i cant remember but its not a seizure and is from low blood sugar/pressure
Edit: its called convulsive syncope and you can read more Here

Happened to my friend when we were peaking on pans. I thought I had killed him.

This happens when he doesn't eat and gets intoxicated. I didn't know this at the time...

It seems to be more common than people realize. I've seen quite a few threads on it.

I agree it seems to be a blood pressure drop. But I don't have medical knowledge.

We were also redosing
