Actually, the US is still the most prosperous nation in the world did to our extensive geographical, economic, and political advantages:
1. We have the largest area of usable land from which to grow food. Twice as large as either of the next two in China and Europe.
It also covers a large latitude, protecting it from climate change.

2.shale oil, keeping prices down

3. More navigable rivers then any other nation

4. Three coasts with some of the most important harbors. New Orline's received more traffic then the entirety of South America alone.

5. Our baby literally keeps the Google economic order by protecting trade routs


On the other hand, Brazil can't feed itself because it has the worst soil. Their soil takes five years of treating to even be viable.
They lack winter, which enriches the soul and kills bugs.
Brazil also has to transport their food from the Sarrato by truck allong a single very congested road.

The US is blessed. I don't even believe the 1/5 statistic against the Amazon.

The US economy, unlike European economies, is based on equity. The deficit isn't good, but it's almost inconsequential.
I don't like the games we planning the media, for example, acting like China or Russia are anything. Our economy is growing faster then China, and has been for over a century.

We are the least involved, yet most influential nation on the world stage. Despite trading the most, it is a relatively small part of our economy.

As mentioned last post, without the US the security of sea trade routs is gone. We can also block nation's that aren't so geographically fortunate in, such as China.

We also have enough young people to secure our economy. The entire rest of the developed world has demographic problems(too old) that mean they won't grow within the forseable future.

Americans always focus on the short term, such as a stupid war or divisive president. We have so many things in our favor, we would have to really try to fucking up.

We took the mantal of the world economy after WWII, and some nation's decided to go with communism. The reason our Allis not following us into Iraq was bad was because they were turning their back on as as though they were somehow not indebted to us opening up markets.
Without the US, it would still be colonial empires that want to have the means of production in their borders.

What upsets memis that we try to act humble when we should use this advantage

People that talk down about the US are completely ignorant and focus on talking point stupidity. We have come out of every decade formovr 100 years in an improved economic position, ell even the English at their best lasted four decades. For good or bad, we dominate, and due to geography are going to continue

Not really existential except volcanos and astroids. It was stupid having so much on the coast anyway. The likely hood of a political uprising is very small, and as far as resources, the US is the most resource secure nation there is. We have enough shale oil that the carriers we stationed in the Persian Gulf have been decreased from two all the time, to one for half the year.
