Hy, recently found a article speaking about a girl that did a boat with mycelium.

I have been always interested in making stuff with mycelium.
Right now i am growing Reishi, pink oysters, withe oysters and cub: maybe the best mycelium to use is reishi because is woody but pink oyster is fast growing !

What myceliun do you think she used ?

Where can i find more info about doing things with mycelium ?

A few years ago one of the car companies was experimenting with making door panels or insulation or something by seeding substrate inside and letting it fill with mycelium. Can't remember the details though; it'd be worth a google.

I am very interested in making things out of mycelium too.  I have some ganoderma applanatum culture that I plan to experiment with in making objects.

That's pretty cool about the leather, but my god that sounds impossible to grow outside of a proper lab.

I think you could get away with doing it without a proper lab if you at least have a sterile place for the mycelium to form in the mold, using plasticiser, and drying.  A lab would be ideal though lol  I was going to experiment with this technique on a smaller scale.
