Advice for my shoeboxes

So, I spawned 3 quart jars to 3 shoeboxes with a sub ratio of about 1.5:1 on 08/09, and they looking pretty shoddy at the moment, at least to my eye. I've got lots of yellowing; I've been reading a ton about it and it seems that it can be a host of things, sub too dry, sub too wet, not enough FAE. I'm hoping to get some advice on how to proceed, but first, enjoy these pictures and let me know what you think:

This is when I noticed the yellowing. I can only see it when I use my phone's flashlight, and I was using it to check for beads of water (I had just read the surface condition post, so I was seeing if it was up to par). Wellll, I'd say that looks quite moist. Decide to search everything yellow, and the results say my sub is too wet and needs more FAE (also think the myc climbing the wall is a tell too), so I left the lids about halfway off for about 8 hours and came back to find basically no beads of water, but the yellowing had chilled out! (sorry, not pics). I did a light mist over each and placed the lids back on loosely. Came back several hours later, and the yellowing got worse!





They looked a little dry, so I gave them a little mist until there were noticeable beads on the sub.

I'm also noticing some very very tiny pins without caps starting to form. I guess these are aborts/blobs from too much moisture.

Anyway, I'm leaving for 5 days in the morning, and I'm wondering what I should do. I bought a box fan to leave running on the other side of the room to help with FAE, but other than that, I'm not sure what to do :shrug:

Edit for info/clarification: I live in a very humid area and I already suspected my sub was too moist because I had to squeeze my coir heavily because it was prettttyyy wet even after following Bod's Bucket tek (3.25l of water for 650g coir); I squeezed some big clumps, so I wouldn't be surprised if the sub was more on the moist side. Also, my tubs are on glass shelves (more closed in than grated shelves) on the opposite end of the room from the central air vent, so this might answer the FAE problem, and I'm hoping the box fan will help.

Probably don't need to do anything really. Just let it do its thing and leave it be. I bet you'll have mushrooms growing by the time you return.

The metabolites can be caused by some bacteria being present in the substrate. You get it a lot with manure based substrates especially the stuff with firefang growing on it prior to pasteurization.

Your sub looks healthy to me and I've thrown out enough to know the signs of trouble.
