Is teonanacatl p.mexicana?

Hi guys i recently got syringes on redit from a Canadian supplier with alot of good pier reviews. One of the syringes is labeled teonanacatl and from all the information i could find is its p.mexicana and grows well on rye grass seed. Im just curious if there is any varieties of p.cubensis with that name.

Also if it is indeed p.mexicana is there any difference in agar media recipes then p.cubensis?

Probably Mexicana. Any agar works. Mea is my suggestion. I have a bunch of mexicana plates right now making pins. They're mea plates

Yes there is also a cube variety named Teonanacatl. I bought mine off of FSRE years ago. You can also find info on it a few other places. All seem to be shared from fsre.
I’ve actually gave away quite a few from that one print.
