I have felt alone yet usually feel just fine alone.  I find feeling alone was more the loss and betryal of having thought people were with me.

People are with themselves always.

Well said.  I’ve always been happy alone but happier in a relationship.  I think being on a spiritual path, finding that inner peace, unattachment, and understanding some esoteric truths to this reality (we are essentially always alone because we share one mind, we just talk to masks and egos) creates some contentment with it.
