Crocodile in my room 25

So I'm laying down in my room and I hear something strange next to me.
I look over and it's a crocodile.

My homie has a pet crocodile and it got out of its terrarium/swimming pool thing and came into my room.
This thing is sketchy and I don't fuck with it at all, so we got put up a dog cage and pushed it into it after like 30 minutes lol.

Now it's back in its space and we fixed how he got out, but fuck. He's gotta get rid of that thing.

That's crazy! It's kind of cute, but I still think I'd freak at least a little if I looked over and saw that next to me.
I wonder what he's looking at.

Y'all seem well equipped to be housing a crocodile.
It wasn't content in front of the flat screen?

I have no experience with pet crocs but some reptiles seem to be very focused on exploring their surrounding environment with a one-thing-at-a-time sort of focus, particularly after escaping an enclosed area in which they are kept. Idk if crocs do that much.
These days I let my boa roam free for most of the time because she just seems happier, relative humidity in the house is high and while most of the house is kept 78 or so I let full sun through the windows in the bedroom where she chills so it's always warm during the summer. She doesnt spend much time near the heat lamp, she prefers to explore things new to her and figure out what she can climb. She loves getting up on windowsills to check out a different view.
Idk about crocs but some alligators can be trained to be very docile and sweet, but I bet that was extremely startling to get that jolt

I did go to some cool alligator place as a kid in Myrtle Beach that was sort of scary sort of fun

See this is what I don't understand about reptiles as pets. How the fuck does a snake "seem happier?" I personally think people anthropomorphise non-mammalian pets, like if a snake has mice and water and heat, pretty sure it doesn't give a fuck what goes on

You would just have to have one. How does a cat seem happy? A dog? You look at how their behaviour changes. I certainly know when my leopard gecko is in a good mood or isn't. And snakes do get stressed, they get agitated. Most lizards and reptiles benefit from exploration. They will ask to come out. Even my turtle, I know when he's happy or whatnot, just from observing him for so long.

I don't think they're as smart as like a tegu or a tortoise but there's no reason to believe you can't make friends with and get to know a crocodile. You just don't wanna trust it too much when it gets big
