So now here we are I've done babba barrels and happy with them
Problem is time, and time is money added to all the extra costs of running it for 12+ hours
I hope to turn ever a 90Kg or preferred 210Kg gas bottle into a gas powered pressure cooker that can reach 20PSI
So a few goals(going with 210Kg bottle)
- Adjustable between 15 PSI and 20 PSI
- Its method of heat must be gas /gas burners
- Easy water filling / drainage system
- Max the space for bags and/or jars
I'll be adding ideas here as I go and plan this.
I'd also document what ever I see fit seen as a project like this can easily turn into a homemade bomb project, also anyone with experience building a babba barrel will tell you don't mess with steam or pressure.

So now I've at least have a method of testing the pressure

Glad that helped. If you do something like this I would be very interested in how you end up doing it. I would like to build one in the future that is why I knew where to find the link.

Ah yes
I've actually got a friend who already did it.
But with a 48Kg gas bottle
And I've got another that's still busy with his so I've got them helping as well
I'm just scared I post a tek on here and some hillbilly try and build one in his back yard and blows the place sky high

Put a disclaimer on the tek. Most people won't have the equipment needed to even attempt it. I was a sheet metal fabricator for 20 years and a machinist for 10 and I am still nervous about a build like this. I am a hillbilly by the way! Not really but it sounds good.
