Just went and checked this out. You mean his "mega mono" video? The one where he doesn't show any results and puts a line of holes all around the lower third? I don't know. This seems pretty different to me. But I guess even a broken clock is right twice a day.

Not a big report, but spawned this afternoon and they are looking good on lack of condensation around airholes and condensation elsewhere. I did varieties I've run for a long time so I can judge it easier, but it looks good!

When I have real news, I'll let ya know!

I'll document it personally, Pasty. Have a major problem uploading pics due to stupid "rural" internet. But it really is looking like it should be good.

The only drag is that they've changed the profile on the majority of tubs I have, so they won't all stack together like one would like them to.

WWG1WGA...I'm in with that, fo sho!

My next spawn run I am going to rock a stack or two this way and will post my results as well. :thumbup:

It will be next to a couple stacks of regular poly tubs to run them side by side. I am not a fan of dealing with polyfill in bulk grows/harvests.

I was about to make a bunch of spitball's magnetic poly filter pads for my mods, and then make some custom spacer brackets to hold the lids of some unmodded tubs in my desired unflipped position so they are still stackable while being unmodded to run that personal preference comparison for myself, but this seems like a happy medium.

Allows the tubs to stack normally with no need to pick polyfill out of anything? I'm game! I'm gonna just place my holes inside of the circular area my normal holes would be melted out from, so if I decide I prefer regular modded tubs I can just melt my holes and carry on.

I am excited for this. So logical. :cheers:

Perhaps my coir should have a bit more moisture, but I ended up putting masking tape over the top holes on one side to keep the condensation where it should be. No big deal, just wanted to make a note of it here.

I always have masking tape on hand as it's how I label my bags and tubs. That way I know how long tubs take and I keep track of yields on the tape as well.

I think I am gonna throw my hand in this as well, got some tubs I need to drill.. Might as well run 4-5 this way.. Got some purple handled totes in last month, just been waiting on spawn to be almost colonized...

Nice dude, thats awesome.  I commit to do the same.  I'm really excited to see everyone's results. Itll be a month or two before i spawn these dialed tubs but I'll post here when I do.

Said fuck it and drilled half my purple handle totes this way... Ended up drilling 7 using this method... We'll see how it goes

Glad to see people trying this out, excited for your results.

Got another first flush tub getting close, these melmac take a long time to mature fully. This tub has had pins for a few weeks now and it’s still not quite there yet. It was only 3 quarts spawn in this one but I’m pretty happy with it.



Some second flush monsters moving in. Not much of a pinset for the second flush but the fruits are massive. Harvest these tomorrow I think.

More important than the volume is the width and length of your tub. But would you change much this hole configuration on a typical 55 vs 66 for example?
