When do you shake them after transferring. I mean, after the initial shake right after. 25% colonization or so, just like master jars?

Depends on how distributed the growth is aftrr the initial shake. In general same rules apply.

Been G2Ging allot this summer mainly because it cuts SAB sessions in half and ofcourse the time it saves for colonizing.

White millet is great for making master G2G jars. I always prep 2 pint white millet jars for the masters then add it to the oats.  :hamsterdance:


I have never had to shake em because of the vast inoculation points but as stated above it's situational.

I wasn't planning on using one of the receiving jars as a master jar, but this one just took off and is almost done. I have no reason to suspect contam either. Does it look fine to use as the next master?

I usually take my fastest colonizers and g2g them. I expand quite a few times before starting over from agar with a clone. Been running the same genetics for over a year doing this. No end in sight!

Looks good chard. I just had to pull 5/30 jars I G2G cause they got the trich. I hope they were all from the same master, but IDK. The others are all bangin tho.

Just wait it will happen if you stay at it long Enough something slips by or sneaks in. Or you get sloppy or just tired. But eventually sooner or later it happens to everyone. And thats one of the reasons its always good to have multiple projects going.

If i'm understanding your graphic correctly, it's about liquid culture and then grain 2 grain. Whatever the case, that's a sweet graphic! I like g2g for sure but I'm more into liquids.

Yeah that's just one strain I have, my cherished MNAPE. I am a bit worried about 4 more jars as they look different from the rest. On the other hadlnd not only did I make pint 7 into 12 pints yesterday, but I turned 4 pints of PE6 to 4 5.25qt bags as well. Definitely fucked on bag up bad when the seal broke as I tried to mix the grain. Accidents happen, don't put all your spawn in one container.:rofl:
