Shelf life of pressure cooked WBS

I have some WBS jars I prepared and pressure cooked about a month ago. Never got around to using them, they are still in the pressure cooker.
Would they still be good? Thinking of starting another grow.

if youre using month old wbs id use clean li/lc to inoculate.
after about 3 weeks they tend to get dried out and it can fuck with colonization.

I read someone mentioning in a kindle shroom book that they always wait for a month or so to use the jar... that way if they are not growing some kind of mold or bacteria yet (which in my experience would def have happened)... then the jar is confirmed good to go.

Why waste time adding a whole month into the timeframe that's not needed? If you properly PC'd your jars then they should be fine, I could understand leaving one jar un inoculated just as a control but to leave every jar for a month seems odd especially since it would quite possibly start to dry out by then

Cool, my first grow was B+ and was pretty easy, any suggestions on what to try next? Do vendors sell li/lc? Note, my temps in the grow room get pretty cool at night 50s-60s

Thanks! I’m thinking maybe cyans, so I’ll probably just order a spore syringe.
On another note.... I had buried some colonized WBS outside to see if it would grow, but no sign of it at the top so I grabbed a little shovel and it was colonizing the dirt like crazy so just pulled out the biggest pieces and spawned em to a couple shoeboxes. I just love how these things just keep growing, amazing! There were even small fruits underground.

I ended up having too many fully colonized jars then I could handle a couple weeks ago so I buried some in the ground in my backyard. Now that I have some time I wanted to do another grow, so I dug em up.

But why? Did you have no other way to start a grow? You also said you had small fruits underground which doesn't make sense to me.

There must have been some loose substrate underground that created some micro-climate. I thought of this before when I initially lined the bottom of my tubs with expanded clay to keep bad bacteria from growing. I never saw it through but I realized if I had, there would be shrooms growing under the substrate.

I just finished a grow, ended up with this...

I fruited one in a bag and had 2 shoeboxes going. They were growing so fast I couldn’t harvest / dry them fast enough and at the same time I had more fully colonized jars. So ended up burying the contents of the jars, the shoebox sub instead of doing another flush etc.
This was two weeks ago.
Now I wanna do another grow, so I dug up the fully colonized jars and mixed them with hpoo sub and made two new shoebox grows.
I also had some extra WBS jars I pressure cooked but didn’t use, so I’m thinking I’ll get a cyan grow going because I’ve never experienced those. It’ll be fun to see if I can grow them before I can find them I live in the PNW.

So you're saying you literally buried colonized jars as well as a jar of dried fruits? Are you not using a dehydrator? I cam squeeze a whole pound into my dehydrator, although I do have 10 trays to stack. I just don't understand how you had trouble drying so little and why you didn't get some more containers to spawn all your work.
