More appeared on my yard. :sunny:

I left two of them to spread spores. I'm keeping my yard collection as a separate collection from the other finds. They seem to have slighty different odor compared to the other habitat finds in my opinion and they also seem to lack the cinnamon flush in the gills. They also and dry up into a lighter colour and maintain their stature better when dried.

Thanks and I will!
This might be a bit less active season for me due to some health issues, but I'll try my best.

I took a quick glance at the roadside habitat today and there were quite a lot about. Started to get a bit dark so only a couple of hasty shots, but seems I need to visit a couple of other habitats in the nearby future. :sunny:

Cheers knarkkorven, good to see you around!

I haven't visited the other habitats this season, but here's some of them yard finds from this summer and fall.

It's still quite warm in here, so hopefully a few more appears. These don't really like it cold.

Beautiful pictures as always! :bow2:

Do these actually grow in your own yard?

Cheers Anglerfish! :toast:

Yea they do grow in my yard, just a few metres away from my front porch. There's like two square metres area in my yard where they've been appearing pretty consistently, althought not in great numbers. But pretty cool to be able to follow their life cycle.

This is actually the third front yard I've found them, I've moved twice after my first finds in 2014. How lucky is that! :pipesmoke:

They've likely moved along with you. Literally. I can see how you probably have
inadvertently spread the spores from finds you made in the wild.

Yea could be, but then again now that I've found them in hundreds on the side of the road and even almost 10km away from my house, where I've never walked before or like this just a couple of kilometers away, I've started to think that these active Pholiotinas might not be as rare as thought to be in here, Northern-Savonia/Finland.

It's the most wonderful time of the year! :sunny:

Visited the habitat today and didn't expect to find anything because it's pretty early and haven't really seen any other mushroom species yet this year. Well, now I've seen. :pipesmoke:

This year is my 10th anniversary for observing this species. Been a fun ride learning about the species and even seeing their life cycle several times. :takingnotes:

I already found chanterelles and even blueberries. Nature goes hog wild. Looking for libs in July is not strange anymore. :shockhawk:

To be honest with my crazy rain and low Scottish temps I might find some libs. Only issue is everywhere is so insanely overgrown right now so spots are a pain in the ass to get to. Might go looking by one of the fields about a mile away on my bike soon.
