Visuals? I have visions. Landscapes. Unfolding deserts. Center of the universe. The places you go to are amazing. The deep thoughts are always there, even while sober. The emotional part is only half the trip.

  When you go on vacation do you solely go around only experiencing the emotions? Dont you want to see the Grand canyon? Or do you just want to feel the vibes while you meditate?  You guys down play a huge part of the experience.

You’re hilarious. By “visuals” I mean entities, realms of experience, “unfolding deserts, landscapes, center of the universe” sounds kinda weak for such a high dosage :lol: mushrooms are literally a slowed down dmt for me, on that high of a dosage I’m fully communicating/interacting with “hyperdimensional entities” that communicate through vision/essential telepathy and blow my mind wide open with the things they show me about reality/myself/consciousness

For a brief example, on around .6-1.5 g (varies in intensity and depth doeneding on dosage in this range) I get a recurring theme I’ve gotten since the very first times I’ve taken mushrooms, it’s all of these tan humanoid faces that fill my vision one by one and stare directly at me, only faces no bodies. Just by “meditating” and staring at these faces, I receive various insights about various aspects of self, reality etc.

As the dosage increases I meet the face entities (just a temporary form) on a deeper level, and get more of an understanding for what they actually are, but it’s all the same thing.

I was and am telling you I, and a lot of other people I know don’t need anywhere near 5 grams for that. Simple as that, no need for the dick measuring contest :lol:

The mushrooms speak in different ways to different people, that's pretty obvious.  It wouldn't be tripping without visuals for me, but it also wouldn't be tripping with only visuals...


Any effective dosage - which varies for different people - should induce visuals. I know it's how I check, watching for CEVs to start during the come-up. :cookiemonster:

DMT has always been something I've wanted to try at least once. From everyone that I've talked to on here.. all say that words cannot describe it. Which I understand. But have always been curious to how wild of a ride it actually is. Maybe one day I'll be able to get my hands on it, but I'll have to work up my courage to go down that rabbit hole haha.

As far as my "trips" go.. they're usually never the same. It usually always tends to start with a little anxiety as I feel my reality shifting in waves. This tends to only last about 5 minutes as I'm adjusting to my state of consciousness. Then, the visuals tend to start hitting. Sometimes I get extreme body load. Sometimes I feel completely fine.

That aspect seems to be a hit or miss. I really don't like the extreme body load. I feel like a fat piece of lazy shit when I am too lazy to even move my arm to touch my face lol. But it also has had its pros and has but me into a trance because I was like "locked" in the seat.

I tend to only get thought loops and time distortion when I'm lucky enough to hit a HARD PEAK. It's been awhile since I've peaked extremely hard. Not sure why.. but this is why I'm tending to think I need to up my dosage a bit more.

I feel like I'm getting too comfortable with this dose, that it's 'losing' some of its magic? Just because I kind of know this ground and usually what happens with this specific dosage. Not sure if that's the case or what.. but I need to start taking 4g more regularly than the 3.5.

Blows my mind how far .5/1g can actually make a difference. Maybe when I break past the 4g mark.. I will be able to close my eyes and enjoy the show.

Dont get me wrong.. 5g sounds so incredible. But I've never taken a dose of something to lose all sense of reality. Every time I've tripped, I knew where i was (even if looked/felt) completely different I still knew where I was.

Also, have always known who I am... and who everyone else was. Never have lost ego in that sense. I do like tripping and  being semi connected to my body and reality.. because I have noticed I can really drift away from it, but with my dosage I can always 'come back', or 'wake up' from that state if that makes sense.

I definitely want to work my way up to 5g. I'm going to plan my next trip on doing 4g..alone.. with some music. Hopefully get some good out of it. Because I don't think the 8th is cutting it for me anymore.

It has been great to me.. but i think I have gotten everything out of that specific dose that it can offer me. I've tripped a dozen times on an 8th. I've learned a lot about myself. About how I treat people. All of that. Have had.some very sad, sad thoughts as well as AMAZING experiences. But, definitely feeling like I need to start stepping on new ground.

There's yer problem.  Visuals are highly dose dependent - effective doses (beyond what you've been describing) create great visuals as well, although it varies strain to strain for cubes and species to species for others.  And I mean effective dose which depends on the alkaloid content of what you're consuming, not just the weight.  Some strains are bunk, others are mind blowing - for the same weight consumed.  If you've got a strain that's low on visuals you might want to grow something better.  If you're not growing you might want to start so you have control.

BTW you can't be afraid to surrender to the trip at high doses, lose your sense of self and human identity, lose your "place" in the universe, and still get what you're apparently after.  It's a trip and it's different than anything else you'll experience.

And  when you say "CEVs" what are you expecting to see?  CEVs IME are usually some sort of fractal kaleidoscopic shifting pattern, although it varies considerably...

Yeah I know. I'm working my way up there and it seems that high dose will break the barrier. I did grow my own mushrooms. From several different boxes.

I have plenty and I like to  beleive they're pretty good. An 8th gets me seeing geometric shapes on walls and alien like symbols and whatnot all along the walls. Ceiling fan looks like its descending down onto me while lying underneath. Peoples faces having several eyes. Facrs drooping off.I get pretty intense OEV's. But you'd think with me having such intense visuals with my eyes open, that I would get at least something with my eyes closed..

Going to do a 4g tea this weekend and see where that journey takes me.

Again. I'm not in it just for the visuals. I take it all in. But I would enjoy a nice closed eye experience for once.

Idk man..psilocin is an orally active form of dmt. There should easily be a close eyed experience similar to ayahuasca possible on this chemical, and in my experience it is.. everyone I know in real life has dmt esque experiences (entities, vivid realms of experience stuff like that) if they’re on a high enough dosage and close their eyes.

For me and again a lot of people I know it’s a repeatable experience, and it is literally a slowed down, less intense dmt trip.

It’s definitely some sort of magical thing to me

It all depends on the substance and dosage for CEVs and OEVs.

The best CEVs I have ever received are under the influence of normal doses of n,n-dimethyltryptamine and high - k hole doses of ketamine. Most CEVs I get on LSD are honestly not worth it; at any dosage unless mixed with other CEV substances. Mushies are always a good time with CEVs as well. It's when You get to higher doses of psilocybin; it is hard to focus on the CEVs, like LSD. But the OEVS on high doses of mushrooms are fucking unreal.

And it all depends on what kind of OEVs You are looking for.
I have had the widest array of Open Eye Visuals throughout My entire tripping life.

If I could say which substance/s. It would be hard to say because it usually would be on a combination of psychedelics.

I usually expect to get further into My meditative practices with CEVs.
A lot more meaningful, personal, and novel in a very profound way.
It's like the exact thing You are looking for if You meditate.

I didn't even know you could trip that hard until I got into higher doses. "Visuals" is not the best
term. Visions maybe? And usually it doesn't even matter if my eyes are open or closed, because it's all
the same at that point. Like my mind is completely on the outside of my body or something...or I don't
even have a body anymore and it's just mind.

Not so much expecting anything. It just seems that when I close my eyes.. I get sensations of being in my own world but it's no different than if I were to close my eyes while sober.. just "darkness". Idk. It's not a huge deal to me.. I was just wondering if there could have been an explanation as to why. And it's more than likely, that I need to up to the dose.

Like I've said earlier, I've never had a problem with OEV's. I've had some crazy visuals while I just sat there and watched geometric patterns and foriegn shapes take over the walls in almost a "light" pattern. Very fucking strange. Also have seen numbers on the wall. It almost looks as if when someone is doing a uturn in your driveway and their headlights shine in your window for a brief second. That's how my visuals were on the wall.. painted in 'light'.

That was an intense trip overall regardless. 4g mushrooms tea of freshly picked mush put me on my cheeks. Didn't attempt for CEV's during that trip because the OEV's were so overwhelming and utterly beautiful.

Also, when you guys speak of the visuals on higher doses... how big is the dose were speaking? I know everyone is different.. but I've never taken more than 4g>Fresh cubes> Tea. (Fresh cubes always seem to perform such a more wild and vivid trip). Honestly thinking of growing a new batch just to make some fresh mushroom tea to store. All of mine are dry at the moment. But every time I tried a fresh picked batch of mushrooms... they were so much more superior than my dried ones.

Every. Single. Time.

I've experienced walls breathing up to hills springing from nowhere and moving around. I seem to get CEV every time, however they are usually just flashes of colour hurtling towards you and I always flinch/try to dodge them like it's actually going to clap me!

psilocin=4-hydroxy-n,n,dimethyltryptamine
We all know you can’t eat pure n n dmt as it’s not orally active, however 4-ho-dmt is, and it’s because this 4-hydroxy group of the molecule allows the n n dmt part essentially bypass these enzymes in your liver that would previously destroy pure dmt

So, mushrooms=orally active form of dmt

PEOPLE SHOULD BE HAVING MUCH MORE INTENSE/DMT ESQUE EXPERIENCES

You know what I’m gonna right a whole guide on how to hallucinate on mushrooms for all of these stupid ass threads about mushrooms not working, OR for the people who say they don’t get these “entity contact” type experiences. And if you follow my basic steps and tell me your mind wasn’t absolutely blown by your closed eye experience, you either are 1.) not letting yourself get deep enough 2.) are on medication 3.)had weak mushrooms or 4.) your brain works VERY differently from the majority of people’s regarding psychedelic experiences



If you think you know what mushrooms are about, take a higher dose, go deeper, cause I promise you don’t, neither do I.

The shittiest part about all of this is this should be common knowledge in here and shouldn’t be a radical idea that people can intensely hallucinate on a substance that’s an orally active form of dmt, but people like to build up their own little bullshit perceptions of what mushrooms are
