Had a look at my local sports around co durham. Nothing to report. Doesnt seem damp enough and there isn't that "shroomy" vide in the air at the moment.

tis the season!
found 50+ on a short walk in the hills - not seeing anything under 450-500m elevation though, similar to last year! perhaps in a few weeks they'll be growing in lower fields - gonna be some long walks in the fells this month if not :smile:

Looks like my tribal rain dance and my sacrifice to the god of the rain actually worked :P

Finally starting to feel like shroom weather, gonna go foraging tomorrow morning and see what I find. Will show you pics when I'm back if I get lucky :smile:

Dude your rain dance worked too well, like its gonna be a banging season thanks to this but I'm now too lazy to go outside since it's raining constantly!
Thankfully I'm at like 5m sea level on the east coast so I don't think I'm missing much

Went picking yesterday for the first time this year. It took a little while to get going but once I found one, they started showing themselves :crazy2::mushroom2:

In the end, it was the most I've ever picked this early in the season. The problem being I was soaked to the bone within a couple hours. Good times :smile:

Just a couple observations in comparison to last year's picks from the same spot. The overall size are bigger and there is less psilocin in them (very minimal/no blueing), at least for now.

Im relatively near that area im 10 mins away from stoke. May have to go out on a search this weekend need some more prints to clean up and grow. I managed to get a couple nice clean plates but had to abandon the project as needed to move house. This house is too small and full of the stuff from the bigger house so cant really set up my work station or grow :frown:.

@200m in the northern peak district

I believe people are starting to find them around Dartmoor (according to reports on social media). Have you searched a bit further afield from your usual spots?

I must admit that my pickings yesterday were from a part of the field which has been dormant the past three years. While the typical flush area was completely dead, at least for now.

Don't get impatient as it really is early days. To be honest, the fourth of September is the earliest I've ever gone out. I wasn't expecting much but came back with a good two handfuls. As long as the weather stays this way until a heavy frost, it should be a good long harvest this year :smile:

after refreshing my mind, out all weekend doing a bit of a shroom hunt, not just libertie, although they are a priority. Im mid derbyshire, checking a few sites in the lower peak district, will post any finds!

Found these this morning on a quick walk in W Yorkshire, we've been getting a lot of drizzle here the last few days and they're starting to pop up in abundance; I ended up leaving far more than I took and didn't even have time to have a proper search, these were just the unmissable ones. I'm not 100% on the top left-most one though; it looks right to me except the gills are creamy colored like the outside of the cap, should I throw it?

my spots brimming to the max with libs in Rochdale, managed to find a shit load in 90 mins, only had to leave because the weather forced me out. The season is in full bloom here in the north west. Enjoy folks
