Thanks for confirming, there was also albino libs I will take next time!
Not to mention some very weird specemins with almost translucent stems fading to green at either end, very strange!

Nice little session on Exmoor this afternoon/evening. Was slow until it was nearly dark and I'd stopped somewhere else, then they just kept coming πŸ˜ƒ
Not sure about the middle on in second pic, ;it think it might just be a mutant?

From struggling to my first proper finds a few days ago of only a few, to this, something has changed for me finally πŸ˜ƒ

Oh yeah, and my paper bag got full, but trust me tissue was a really bad idea. Seemed ok at first, but for more than a few minutes they stick like hell when they start drying a bit πŸ™„

:congrats:

yep - can be buggers sticking to newspaper, i can only imagine the issues wth tissues

Was it the horse droppings bottom left that done it for you?

Do you guys ever search inside them big tuffs of grass? I had abit of a look and found small white mushrooms growing from the dead grass, possibly caps but they looked young so hard to tell

Starting to get a decent amount in inner city parks now (around 100m ASL - West Midlands).
Just need to find some spots away from the hundreds of dog walkers now

Nice work! I found a similar amount this morning actually. Are you looking on rural sheep fields or parks etc?

Popped out last night for a skeet around the local area, literally spotted the first one in a sheep/cow field a good 3 meters away.
My first official haul, many more to come hopefully!
The thrill of the hunt certainly is... liberating.

Just on my way out for a look for some now in Leeds,Yorkshire. There's an urban farm really close to me with sheep, cows, and other animals grazing. It's part of a valley trail where there are a lot of fields and woodlands. Stumbled across this little one on the way there but he ain't no lib unfortunately. Last pic is of habitat.

Had a fair amount of rain the last two days and this morning and temps are currently at 13C. Maybe a little too warm atm? I hear it's best to wait for a couple of really cold days with rain and then that's when they're at their prime for finding. I'm knew to hunting so clarifications of my understanding would be great guys. TIA.
