Blue/green on BRF cakes
    #26131589 -

First attempt here. The cakes have been in the SGFC for a week now, and have noticed that the top part of the cakes have turned slightly blue. Is this bruising or contam (or something else)?

I fan and mist roughly 4 times a day until the cakes are glistening with moisture. The FC is built up to spec, and there were no contams during colonization. Any idea?

Cheers

Looks like bruising I'd say from drying out.

Cut back on fanning mist the same you don't really need to fan sgfc much if all depending where it's set.

Cheers. But i'm surprised that they're drying it out since I'm able to keep an eye on them fairly often and will always mist if they're looking dry. Suppose i'll have to be more careful!

mist it more heavily when you mist it. the bruising should go away.

I could be another reason but the verm looks light colored to me could just be the verm but if it's not in a closet and out in a room a sgfc has serious air flow goin on you be suprise do how easy they can dry if air is moving near them.
