I didn't read the entire thread, but Bill, I bet it was hard finding your dad the way he was.

Condolences Bill. I will offer that psychs, in particular mushrooms have shown me that this physical life is not the end. I am not sure about much, but I am sure that there is a continuance of sort of spirit.

A few years ago, my father was very sick with cancer and could not make the annual fishing pilgrimage that we had made together for the past 35 years during the last week of May. I was fishing with my two sons and my best friend in the hole that was my dads favorite fly fishing spot. ....this appeared in the middle of the day when there was no rain around. There was no cell phone service up there but I found out later that eve. that he had passed away a couple hours before that. This, I am positive, was a wink from him to let us know that all is well.

I have had several visits since then but won't go into detail because they are personal to me and I don't want to take away from the breadth of your loss.
Bill, keep your mind open and you will have visits from him, I am sure.:hug:
