The problem is both right and left don't want to admit what they stand for in order to not sound crazy to other party.

I seriously do not pay enough attention to argue or debate on a deep level with politics and I state this periodically when I get in these threads. I merely point out things that bother me and comment on that. It seems like a futile effort to debate online much less in person because some or most people can get very emotional and will get blinded by their emotions. I really don't give a flying fuck about politics and have only voted one time in my entire life. :shrug: It's all a bunch of horse shit designed to control and entertain people that want and or need it. I just move along, pay my taxes, and keep a stash and share with like minded people and keep them as friends. Relax, and enjoy life.

Well the free speech thing you are pulling out of your ass. For a long time it was completely the opposite in mainstream media, until the last maybe ten years. The left defended the right to freedom of press, freedom of government transparency, freedom to practice any religion openly. The right wanted institutionalized religion, demonized all illegal drug users and tried to silence their opinions, they were responsible for much of the Red Scare which was effectively censorship.

The reality is nobody that anyone with power listens to is actually trying to censor anyone. After decades of being the dominate voice in the government, all of the sudden republicans are victims of censorship. Remember video games, Harry Potter in schools, Darwinism, all censorship perpetrated by the right not the left.

The left's form of censorship is just shame. They don't want to stop you from saying fag, but if you do they will be on you like flies on shit. They don't want to jail you or shut down your platform. It's only because society is finally progressing beyond a straight WASP exclusive mentality that those words of shame have any power. People in power are just pissed that they get called out for their sexist, racist, ignorant ideas. Suddenly it's "Wah, boo boo, they don't want to negotiate with me about if black people (code word 'urban people') are more dangerous because of the actions of an oppressed group of extremely downtrodden people. They want to just say I'm racist and my ideas are worthless, waaaaah."

I'm sorry, but the left attempts to censor more than just blatant racist and sexist slurs, so that's a false narrative you're trying to create. Hell, just wearing a MAGA hat is considered offensive by many on the left, that's ridiculous.

The left is constantly attempting to demonize a certain demographic and everything associated with their culture, heritage and history.

I'm sorry, but wanting our existing immigration laws enforced is NOT racism and using the term "illegals" isn't derogatory. Unfortunately, we're in a place today where that's being called Nazism and white supremacy. I would NOT call that progress, that's social regression.

I think the left believes in non theist community.  The right only believes in Christianity.  Largely.
