What did you expect? You have a right to free speech, but you can and will be judged for what you say. The right pulls the exact same shit. Go into any deeply conservative christian area, and you can't say all kinds of things in public. You say "fuck" or a bunch of other stuff enough and you're going to be kicked out of most businesses in conservative areas. It's the same from Nebraska to Oregon. And if you say a bunch of liberal shit in conservative Texas, they are sure as hell going to judge you for it.

This thread itself is an example of the right being just as hypocritical as the left. The exact thing you're criticizing the left for in this thread is something the right does all the time.

Is it really so hard to just not say an offensive word? It always blows my mind that people are so obsessed with saying words like "faggot" or the nword. Your obsession with this word in particular (out of all the things that you can't say in various places at various times) shows that you have (at the very least) a lack of respect for gay people in general. Oh sure, you say you don't, but why do you care so much about this one word specifically? It says something about you, and it also says something about your level of maturity.

Like most grown ass adults, I don't go around saying fuck, shit, and cunt in public, so is it really so hard to just not say "faggot"? And if you say it in private and someone's offended, well, what did you expect? It's an offensive word, you knew this.

...and sissy is much better? Using a known derogatory word just to use it to rile people up is immature and senseless. When you were kids using it you probably didn't understand the full scope of what the word in question really encompassed and meant. Words are used as weapons and very craftily placed into mainstream culture by insidious people. You kids probably used it often and around older people and they would have a reaction thereby reinforcing you to use it even more. Kids are brutal and sometimes they are aware that they are. When we stopped being able to use paddling and spanking it went downhill,lol.
