Gangs aren't giving up their weapons. That would just leave them vulnerable.
if 8 people can get stabbed on a prison yard in a matter of seconds with some melted down and compressed plastic than were never going to get anywhere. Mass attempted killings are never going to stop

If that is true, i think its a great idea. Of course, the legality of it will be shitty to go thru.
Whats interesting is that rapper Emimem also grew up in a fatherless home and in his music, he expresses a lot of hate toward his father. Even jokes about gun violence. I would say theres a strong correlation between fatherless homes and male violence.

Hard to point out what’s the main cause of these mass shootings. The ones that are easy to point out don’t have a black and white answer either. A lot of it is subjective
All i know is that guns are a constitutional right, and were put into place for the purpose of being a defense if the government gets too power crazy. Not to mention just self defense.
Mental health is a tough one to tackle. Comes down to nature versus nurture. Is it someone’s nature, and in their genetics to be a mass shooter? Or was it how they were brought up? Can’t be 100% predictable. Unfortunately there aren’t many options that are full proof, including banning guns. We have dark web marketplaces and since when did banning drugs ever stop the problem?
Maybe it could be different, since we wouldn’t be able to produce them. But would it really stop those who are willing to do it? I think recognizing real warning signs is important. Not expelling a kid who brings a lego with a plastic gun on it. Things will work themselves out. Mindsets will change eventually and a solution will present itself
