First ever grow its supposed to be Alt #7 sclerotia about a month in and it looks like this

There's a few stones forming in there.
Might have stalled due to bacteria etc.
Not a great jar but give it another month.

Let's see the bottom and top too if you can swing another pic.

It looks ok to me but could of done with a shake about two weeks ago. I normally give them a good shake when it gets to a golf ball ish size while it’s still nice white fluffy mycelium. I’ve only ever left a couple of jars without shaking just to see how it goes and they took ages to fully colonise so might just be that. I’d just leave it now it’s growing stones and see how it goes.

One month in tamps are usually turning brownish and popping stones all over. Looks contaminated. Are you using agar? Care to show us some plates?

Why does it look contaminated?  Just looks like a not fully colonised jar, you can clearly see stones forming. If it had been shaken early on then yeah it would be fully colonised with stones forming throughout after a month.  Can’t really see that much else wrong with it from that picture  There’s certainly no reason to toss it yet.
