im a bit confused on the substrate//boiling part (do not have a pressure cooker/canner so i have no idea where to buy one and with only like $40)
anyway... it says to punch holes in the cans before boiling it... wont that make all the flour and vermiculite come out during boiling and sorta ruin the can??? or did i read wrong and punch holes after boiling??

thanks for bein patient with a newbie like me

nevermind, its not really boiling the jars now that i understand it... just puttin them in boiling water with the steam doin the sterilization
