Askng for clarification on naming these. I'm thinking Gymnopilus liquiritiae but I also keep running across Gymnopilus luteus. And scrolling through pictures Galerina but these were dry when found in NWGA by a lake on wooded flood plain. If possible could I get somones opinion. Reddish cap, slightly purple in center rolled in when dry with purple tinge on edges of cap. Stem hollow bruising purple where cut. Fresh caps bruish black when damaged. Growing separately on decaying logs. Spores are rusty orange.
