ID Request - Melbourne SE * 1
    #26115297 -

Hi All!
First successful hunt... I hope. All were found in the same area. The First 3 in the top left I have more suspicion about (pic 21-24) they are a bit larger, have a thinner stem and more of a straight conical cap.

Habitat: Barky shrubland
Gills: Light tan, same as cap (mature one a bit darker)
Stem: White, strong and woody 3-5mm diameter
Cap: Light tan 12-25mm diameter
Spore print color: TBC
Bruising: Pretty much all have some degree of blueish bruising, some more than others

Any help muchly appreciated

Their Pan. Foes due to spore prints, the pan. subs are jet black rather than rusty brown. That being said their none actives unless some prints turn out black, the black ones would be subs (actives) but always wait for a professional before consuming.

In this instance the poster is referring to psilocybe subaeruginosa, commonly in AU nicknamed subs

They look like a nice collection of subs to me.... Make sure they all print purple brown and I would wait for a TI but in the mean time compare to

Sorry total newb here, the print for all have been dark brown. I'm checking them all as to eliminate the possibility for Galerina as it would give a more rusty orange print correct?

I definitely found some that looked very similar in the area. The caps were slightly brighter tending towards orange, white stems, no evidence of veil... But as they didn't bruise blue (in fact some bruised orange) I turfed them straight away.

Yes look out for the rusty/orange/brown prints and do not consume those lol.
I’m no expert but I have noticed that the purple in the sub print tends to vary from really dark violet/brown to light purple/brown. In my opinion you have the lighter of the spectrum but still with some purple in it.
The blue/green bruising on the stem as well as the finely cortinate veil all good characteristics of P. sub.
As I am from Ca and not really familiar with P. subaeruginosa I would still caution you to wait for a TI. This is all information I’ve pulled from my Psilocybin Mushrooms of the World(Stamets) book.
Hope this helps
Either way nice find and keep hunting and welcome to  Shroomery!
