Kindness is so attractive... * 4
    #26111274 -

Tonight I found an ad on Gumtree for a free item which is something that I collect so I excitedly sent a message thru the app then called the seller to say I was interested. I'm not sure what I said exactly that caused the seller to be so compassionate (read further down) but she left the item outside the house for me to pick up and she also said she left some food as well as she's moving house and seemed to want to get rid of stuff.

I got to her house and found the item outside just as she said it would be and I took the bag of food as well so that it wouldn't go to waste.

Looking through the bag of food later, I noticed a snack bar with a $20 note wrapped around it. Feeling a bit confused, I texted her saying I found money with the food and that if she provides me with her banking details I'd send the money back to her in the morning. She texted back saying the money is for me.

I think she thinks I'm homeless or something and something I said might have given that wrong impression. She didn't want the money back and I said I'd help her with her house moving or anything else she needs assistance with but she said she's ok and didn't need help.

So here I am with $20 and feeling like there really are angels living here on Earth. I told her I'm gonna pay it forward. Do something nice for someone.

Does anyone else find kindness to be an attractive trait? I never saw this woman and only spoke to her for a short time on the phone. This mysterious woman set off something in my heart that is difficult to put into words...

That is nice.  Pay it forward.  Go out and get a drink or a burger and leave a tip.

The lady probably thought you were helping her.  What was the free item?  Cause moving sucks!

Yes. Kindness is a beautiful trait. The world would be a lot better if we all practiced it more often.

Attractiveness doesn't translate into sex. Maybe we are talking about necessary but not sufficient conditions.

being nice can get you ahead in life as can playing the victim depending on the company. some people see right thru that shit.
but being nice never got any ugly person laid, unless it was with someone as ugly or uglier than them.

Maybe we should consider all aspects of attractiveness. The physical and not physical.

The logic behind this argument seems to indicate that in couples with one unattractive partner the ugly one is never nice to the other.

I don't buy this reasoning.

theres lots of variables when it comes to balancing out relationships like that..money, humor, social prowess. I'm not saying personality doesnt play a role , just that kindness alone never got anybody laid. I would even say most girls under 35 yrs want absolutely nothing to do with nice guys, they see it as a weakness

How often do you see couples where one partner is disproportionately uglier than the other?

The younger generation seems different than the ladies of mine.  Even then there were ladies that got educated in higher education.

Lot's of good girls know that sex could bring about kids.  So they look for good mates that can rear children.  Not all girls only drug and fuck.  Stay away from those.

I used to see it a good amount in hawaii when we went to the resort beaches. gorgeous girl with a nerd. you always knew that the guy was loaded, a tech millionaire or something.
and theres always cases  where the girl has totally let herself go after a ring or baby. you'll find that anywhere

The ugly people with attractive partners usually have money (which has nothing to do with kindness).

It’s pretty rare as far as I can tell. Definitely the exception to the rule. Are you ugly?

Niceness alone doesn't get you laid, cuz it's generally the minimum standard most people expect. Sex isn't a participation  trophy, you don't get it for simply not being a dickhead.

Sharing your wealth with your partner is a form of kindness. Would someone like to be with a very wealthy partner who doesn't share a single penny?

Is my attractiveness or lack thereof relevant to the establishment of logical arguments?

I asked if you’re ugly because you seem pretty invested in the topic.

If you are ugly, intelligence will get you laid quicker than kindness. By intelligence, I’m referring to your ability to flatter, persuade and generally manipulate another person into doing what you want

You have a better plan?

Couple up with someone, watch them age and get fat and old, clinging to this other body for dear life, praying that your shared love will stave off inevitable impending death?

True story after a nightmare fiancé my next relationship my girl got me ice packs and weed and litterally I’d never had a two sided road in a relationship and I almost teared up because my ex fiancé never did ANYTHING kind Lise that for me and I’d done a million kind things for her. I still look at the next girl as giving me hope that there are women out there that don’t just want everything to be about them and I’m not the only one who can do kind things in a relationship. The kind ex also did something I thought women were incapable of by realizing she could of fucked with my emotions but when she realized I wanted a serious relationship and she just wanted kinky sex with no long term strings, she TOLD me exactly that instead of dragging me along for months while she twittells her thumbs. I respect he he’ll outta that woman and my ex fiancé was great in her own way but the more I date the more I realize how fucked up she was on a basic level.

So yes kindness = one of the most attractive traits in a woman

Kindness is very attractive. How could it not be?

Ive had ladies cook for me or give me gifts randomly when i barely knew them. Their thoughtful kindness was really sweet and I never forgotten those moments. Its a rare experience for someone to go out of their way to do that for someone like myself so it filled with magical feelz.

Yo this might be the wisest thing you've ever said. I just recently came to realize this truth. In fact, confidence while physically 'ugly' is so rare it might be even more of a draw then an attractive confident person.

Like, what does this ugly fuck have to offer that's so amazing he's almost cocky about it?! I have to know!

Once I had a stable girlfriend I noticed soooo many more women interested in me. It's like they could smell the confidence before I even talked to them. I wish I could have realized this years ago

I'm 365 lbs. A pound for every day of the year. Consensus has it that I should crawl under a rock and die.

I had severe social phobia and body dysmorphic.

Instead of crawling under a rock and dying, thank you psychedelics, I went swimming in my local pool. Rather than hiding my sumo sized body I stripped it down to swimtrunks and got right in the public eye.

Sorta inching around in the water hoping not to be noticed?

Fuck. No.  :suckmydickbitches:

I started doing epic splashdives.

Its loud like a bomb going off. The water splashes up 20 feet.

I stand straight and let myself fall either forward or backward, down into the water, hitting it flat and these two walls of water erupt skyward to my sides as I fall into a deep water hole that smacks shut with a loud bang :yesnod:

I'm as big as a sumo wrestler.
I'm barely more dressed as one.
I make epic splashdives.

What do you think?

People love it. They admire it. They emulate it. I get compliments and cheers and not of the sorry sort but of the -holy fuck wow- variety. Women and girls hit on me. The lifeguards told me that the mood in the whole pool picks up when I'm there and security told me that I ease their shift because the inevitable pool machos get outdone by a feat they can't overbid. Its a remarkable process, it affects everybody.

CONFIDENCE ATTRACTS.

If I didnt throw myself resolutely into the fire but selfconsciously tried to blend in the shadows, a lot of people would think of me as a fat fuck and maybe even a creep, as per society dictate, which doesnt look kindly on the obese. They'd see my obesity and my shyness and it would be negative. Now that I throw myself in headfirst though, what stands out is my courage and perseverence and my big body just highlights that.

Courage from humility - people appreciate that.

People are all selfconscious about their wrinkle or freckle or bit of flab and in walks a sumosized dude who throws thunder, clearly has a great time, yet is kind and is a public favorite. They ask themzselves why the f their little prob holds them back while I made my big prob into a strength and have lots of fun. They feel better about themselves and I originate that.

Just like there are negative spirals there are positive self reenforcing spirals.

Its a hoot.

Psychedelics taught me to defeat my fear and hesitance with, faith, hope and love and plain ole COURAGE and confidence and a party ensues for all involved.

Oh, social phobia and body dysmorphic? GONE, no SSRI's or therapies.

Like the Qu'ran says, if you righteously throw yourself in the fire, the fire will cool to let you pass through unharmed.  Like the Bible says: WALK ON WATER!

If your intelligent enough you realize that sex is about nutting for a guy.  There's the theory of tantric, which seems off topic.

Tantra doesn't happen very often.  At least for me.  I just cannot handle a lot of stress and anything all too different is a lot of stress.  Perhaps one day I'll be numb enough in all the places that hurt, that I'll be able to feel again.  Which is a sincere hope of mine.

But if you are really intelligent, you won't need to have to do much with others.  Sex is a human need, because we lack tools.  We lack mental devices to deal with our nature.

That's why I'm not against porn.  But as far as relationships with other human beings and females I feel a bit uncomfortable about it.  It seems that sex is a shallow thing with deep needs and lasting impact.  Seems difficult to find someone that is going to put up with my complex mentality.

I just cannot be normal without busting a nut from time to time.  Having a woman control me seems like the thing I've been trying to get away from since day 1.

Yeah I agree. Some take the word confidence and think that means being cocky. It ain't. Being cocky and arrogant isn't attractive. Being 100% confident in who you are is.

Personally, I almost prefer sex where I don't cum. Afterward I still feel energized and sexually charged instead of drained. Nutting is like taking a shit, sex is like a wonderful experience that I try to appreciate every moment of. It blows me away that it's common for people to never habe sex more than 15-20 minutes. That's barely foreplay, I want 2+ hours whenever possible

depends for me. for more casual "every day" style sex, I'd rather quick and efficient, especially with a partner you know so intimately that you both know what buttons to push to send the other over the edge. mostly cuz who the fuck has time for 2+ hour marathons on a regular basis.

now with a new partner where you are still both exploring each other. or for special occasions where you want to make it a treat for both... awww yeah, lets go for hours.

I've never been in like a multi year relationship so maybe I've just never been with someone long enough to want "efficient." But like what else would you rather be doing, watching Netflix?

That is nice.  Pay it forward.  Go out and get a drink or a burger and leave a tip.

The lady probably thought you were helping her.  What was the free item?  Cause moving sucks!

I don't want to give specifics about the item because if I did I'd be identified pretty easily by anyone who knows me. But the item is something people would pay money for, it wasn't junk.

Love your story Asante, thanks for sharing and that's to everyone too who put in their 2 cents as well.

For me, physical attractiveness might create temporary lust while kindness is something that can sustain love for a long time.
