good morning (or good afternoon, good evening, and good night as appropriate)
hope all you beautiful Shroomerites are doing well :heart:

have adopted my parents remaining cat
she's hugely too fat, obnoxiously loud, and quite demanding of attention/a real case of "come watch me eat"
but she is also hugely affectionate, intelligent, and otherwise well-behaved

+ she is all black so she earns witchy bonus points

she also does not seem to be so on edge now as when babysitting her and Squeakers when he would pick on her

my aim is to slim her down to a healthy weight, could do with a new familiar but R'lyeh, then Caledonia, then Terby has left me feeling somewhat drained and wanting to just work alone
but she'll likely be nosey and break through, that seems to be how it always starts

am free from appointments and stuff this weekend, so planning to chill at home a bunch
Monster Hunter World has updated with a couple new hunts to do and gears to farm
but, sadly, does not seem to have new gear for Caledonia from the new monster stuff
so she is currently still chilling as a mini Buddhist monk floating on a lotus throne




tho also got a bit of a nervous laugh -- decided to try a bit of a new colour scheme with my new gear set thing (pictured)
and rather than pink and white or black and pink, went with black and purple to match my character's hair (plus my own when getting unlazy and scheduling a hair appointment ugggghhhhh)

then turned around and got incidentally called out by a trans meme the next day



when ur transin' so hard even your subconcious be like "let's fit stereotypes we don't yet know exist"

Mornin'! 2 patients cancelled today due to being sick! Fuck! I do not want this shit. Me and the mate were sick over the xmas holiday. He got the flu shot in November, then developed some kind of cough thing and flu like symptoms. I got the cough as well and was sick all December. Was a weird cough flu cold thing too. We are thinking we already got exposed to the covid19 thing already, but here's no test for if you've already had it is there? I'm hoping that sickness made us more resistant to this virus.:eek: I'm so glad I'm not working in a hospital or nursing home right now.

Well I was thinking that the kitchen people will need the money more than others, so they may hide their illness from the bosses and still come to work and cough all over the whole kitchen!:stirthepot:

Called the waste collection dept to find out why my dishwasher was not picked up, apparently it falls under a different category than "large items" and is by appointment. And the appointment they gave is in like 10 days. :cookiemonster: So I had to push this heavy piece of junk back up the driveway.

The garbage collection here is awful in general, once every 2 weeks.
