harvesting question

1/4 of my brf cakes just fruited, and they got so mature within like 3 days that i decided to harvest them. theyre beautiful, in a tupperware contained (lid off) in my fridge. my dehydrator is supposed to get here in three days. However, 3/4 of my cakes have no signs of pins or anything. Should i do a second dunk on all of them?? or wait until the others pin? Should i just take what i harvested, dunk that cake, and try to flush it again? Or should i leave the whole operation alone and keep misting and fanning daily on all 4 cakes?

Personally, I'd dunk the cake you harvested, but leave the others to pin as they will soon follow along. My rule is don't dunk until you harvest the cake
Don't mist on a schedule, otherwise you may not give it time to evaporate properly and they will remain wet. Remember, evaporation triggers pinning
Instead, take a look at them, think, do they look dry? If so, mist. If they are still glistening, leave em for a bit.
Hope this helps mate! Best of luck and keep us posted.

Congrats on your first grow
-The cakes will not fruit injunction with eachother. (They typically do, but delays happen) -Sounds like you are doing everything correct if I understood your post. -If you’ve dunked them all at the same time and are misting when needed, leave them be !
Sometimes cakes can take up to 10+ days to fruit, however if conditions are ideal, they will be fruiting in no time! Keep doing what you’re doing

Hey you may want to look into a drying method before that dehydrator gets there 3 days from now. I know for sure you aren't supposed to freeze them fresh because they turn to black mush. Not sure about the refrigerator but man I'd hate for you to lose that hard work right here at the finish line. Good luck!

For cakes that WILL NOT fruit (I'm saying week and a half from now), take alcohol dipped utensil and a hole through the middle. Then recase in verm and mist. This really works.
I agree, dehydrator is a waste. 20"x20" box fan, two 20"x20" a.c. filters, your fruits in between, bungee sandwich. Dries much faster and cheap, cheap, CHEAP!!
