Sorry to keep reviving this thread... Im sure everyone here has wondered, asked, and tried...

So wtf is the deal... I figured it was impossible. The internet has told me varying stories of working and not working..

My uncle just told me he used to sprinkle the last bit of shroom dust on his and grandpas weed bowl and they swore they would be trippin....

Any of you guys have any experiences with this?

I smoked a gram in a bowl and it didn't do anything. I had a bet with my friends back in the day. I told them it wouldn't work and to prove it to them I smoked a gram and drove 5 hours back home from a ski trip. I didn't feel a thing. It was also the most F'ed up taste I have ever had, super gross! Ugghh.

Hahaha.. I do it as a gag.

Drunk I smoked a stem as it looked like a joint and felt nothing because I also did the trick where you eat it while it is cherried. Results were muddy because of procedure.

Another time I was very stoned ,smoked it through a makeshift carrot pipe I made on vacation, and I was swearing up and down that it mellowed me out and sobered me up. Probably not..

Just smoke carrots.. same thing

because of vaporization point of psilocybin then technically it's possible

That sounds absolutely terrible & unnecessary. Just eat them. People have been eating them for thousands of years,  why fix something if it's not broke?

IT DOES NOT WORK....It doesn't....At all....in anyway....Lots of folks claim it works, but it's called placebo and ignorance.



I have always known it doesn't work...but purely out of curiosity and just to say, "yes, I have even tried it myself".......

...Years ago I pre-loaded on a bunch of harmalas/syrian rue, and then took several bong rips of dried mushroom.....

....Nothing happened, even with the enzyme inhibitors in my system, there was still absolutely no effect from smoking mushrooms.




Smoking mushrooms does not work...It is a complete waste of substance.

or you can just shoot the spore syringe straight into your mouth and it's like a 10 oz trip all at once

Spores are not active so you can't trip from spores.


It was actually dust from caps and gills from an ounce i had went through,I just assumed there was spores in them. and yes i put it on an already burning bowl of weed i didn't sit there and torch it with an open flame. :cool:

didnt sit there and torch it with a lighter i just dumped on a already lit bowl of weed....which can burn at lower temps and also doesn't burn at a solid temp, so in theory yea you can inhale it and get an effect if its done right. alls im saying is when i hit the bowl twice.....it sent me to the fucking moon for about 5 minutes. i was like at a shroom peak instantly to the point where i couldnt even talk and i was phasing in and out to the point my brother asked me what i was smoking lol. can't say if there were actually spores per say in the shake dust but being gills and all im just assuming there were still spores in there. sorry for the confusion....:thumbup:

lol i thought you were joking and i'm still not really convinced but i will submit that theoretically, if you could somehow get enough fruit bodies (not spores) heated to the right temps, sure, why not i guess.
