Heating/Cooling innoc loop and syringe at same time

Hey guys, looking for the best way to flame sterilize and cool off LC needle and innoc loop at the same time.Trying to drip onto the loop b4 streaking the plate instead of dripping from needle directly on top of agar.Would I have to flame both with one hand and then open the dish with the other hand and cool them in the agar? Or do you think Or could I cool off both the needle tip and the loop by squirting the first little bit of liquid onto the loop??

How about put several drops into a mini-round, shot glass, or even better an empty petri dish.

I would aspirate the syringe gently until it stops hissing, and touch the inoc loop to the agar surface until it stops sizzling.

/e i find if i plunk it down into the agar, i tend to get sticky bits attached to it.
