Thoughts on this online bought mess?
Should I even try burying it outside?
And can anyone point me to how to start my own thing, the easiest way possible?

Damn, sorry about your kit. You could bury it outside and see what happens but I doubt itll grow shrooms regardless tbh. I recommend following my methods in my signature, only instead of doing monotubs I recommend doing shoeboxes for a first attempt. They are the size of your kit and there is a great tek by Mushboy. If you do okay you will get an ounce off each shoebox. Get a 23 quart presto pressure cooker to start and some quart jars and you'll already have most of your expenses out of the way. Oh and lastly follow the teks verbatim, otherwise itll more than likely go wrong at some point.

Since I am really unfamiliar with the whole process, is there a very-very noob visual guide around that I can start watching? And also, is this something a regular guy with no experience can do? Or it requires time and experience like many things?

Yeah familiarise yourself
Here’s some info you’re looking https://www.shroomery.org/forums/remlinker.php?Cat=&Entry=190235&F_Board=2&Thread=17231150&Main=17231150 I’m serious about contacting the seller. Get on to it! If they’re reputable then you should get a replacement or refund voucher...then bury the kit, buy a pressure cooker and start from scratch when you next have money.
You can thank me by doing it and you’ll not regret it, I can guarantee it

Yep, sent a mail to them, they're very known so yeah. Might get the spores from them, if they are cool, as I saw them sell at 16 euro-ish, syringe included.
Gonna bury it tomorrow for sure, even though it's a false hope, it seems too far gone.
In regards to the PC, does it need any specifics? Quantity size, etc? 5L, 7L, 9L?
If I only need it once I can also just borrow from my aunt for a day, spare 20 euros.
Super pumped to start learning more and actually start building something.

Pc size..the bigger the better. More grain can be prepared.
Here’s a thought since you already spent this money, for now before you venture maybe replace the kit and collect spores. You’ll have mushrooms and spores win win. Gives you time to learn until you can afford the start up.
Happy times!

There are some good vids for sure on YouTube and Vimeo, which are mostly best for getting the big picture and seeing sterile techniques. This is a totally achievable pursuit, but it does have many complicated moving parts that you'll likely need hours of reading to understand well enough to begin - I know I did!
Check out the Ultimate Tek Compendium, which is extremely thorough and organized by beginner/intermediate/advanced teks, and start at the beginning. Be curious, enjoy the learning process, and you'll figure it out!
