Stay alive for your wife and help each other get to a good place. Do it for your brother. I'm sure he wouldn't want to see you sleeping in a trash can or being mad that he died. Use it as a turning point and try to make it as positive as possible.

If you can't sleep than try making some art to sell, or collecting scrap metal if you can. Try to stay productive and do small things to make your situation better. Maybe get cheap drugs and flip them if you think you have the will power not to use them.

Get some healthy food from a church and get to day labor. Knock on doors and ask if you can pull weeds or do any odd jobs they might have.

I hope you get to a good place, both physically and mentally, soon! Good luck and try to be positive and productive. If your life has no meaning then give it one. Dedicate your life to doing something great and stick with it!

Im glad everything is turning out mr.moon, I know youve been through some shit but now that you have the money get yourself a place for you and your wife, both of you really deserve it, take a look back to see how you have battled even the toughest of times, you can do anything, give your life a meaning and dont hold anything against no one, the best thing you can do in this life is forgive everyone and keep loving and doing you, IM so happy that you finally got the money.

Yeehaw! Been there done that. It's so much easier being homeless in the country than a big city. At least it was for me. My GF and I stayed on a river. Make good choices bro, thats what it's all about. Use that money to make more money. Cleanup get a job, yadda yadda. Hope only the best for you guys!

Mr Moon, so sorry to hear some of the struggles you've been having. Life can change for anyone in an instant, and we can be faced with challenging circumstances.

I've almost been there myself a several occasions and to process other issues I've been dealing with and my fear of that happening, I give back in ways that I can.

Homelessness is an experience that affects LGBTQ people disproportionately, so I focus my energy on serving young people in my community.

It may be a good idea to come up with a list of resources in case you're ever in that position again - like places to get decent free meals, etc.

And if you feel you have the energy in the future, maybe you can try to help others who have been in that position too. (maybe others reading this will be inspired, too)

My first thought was parasite actually. They are more prevalent than people think. I'm pretty sure a lot of people get misdiagnosed or just aren't sure anything is wrong. The real tragedy here is how many things can give us the shits. It's a hard life living with an anus. RIP

I'm gonna get a hotel for several reasons.

Can't put my wife on the lease because of a eviction.
2nd I don't make 3x the rent.

The hotel im seeing is $240 a week.
We both get SSI also at $587 a piece
I work and bring home usually $240 a week.
So it's manageable financially but gonna be tight with spending.

Such is life :sad:

Where abouts do you live? Try get in a fabrication / manufacturing shop, those places often hire anyone starting at at least 12-15 an hour often with overtime, paid holidays and stuff
