Cheap yet cool places to travel to

I want to travel overseas somewhere ideally. I dont want to spend a ton of money.

Any ideas? 

I really just want to be around a different culture for a while.  Remove myself from the familiar

Nope. Traveling is expensive no matter what. Unless you live like a homeless person the whole time and walk everywhere/sleep outside/find free sources of food

Well I don’t expect it to be cheap. But there must be places where it isn’t going to cost a ton.

What utter horseshit. Have you been to any of those places yourself?

I've been all over this little globe and Cambodia is one of the most wonderful bits of it. Food is amazing and the people even amazinger.

Lemme guess, you read or were told about your opinions above somewhere?



OP - Go to India. I cannot recommend it highly enough as a first step outside of western culture. Past the flight it's cheap as it gets, and it WILL make you grow as a person to see it.
