Any of you guys got bonsai trees?

There's this white mold overtaking my moms tree and idk what to do.

Not sure. Maybe just let it dry out completely or a squirt of peroxide?

A few months ago I was looking into starting a couple bonsai to pass down to the next generation. I seen some really old bonsai in person when I was at the Japanese garden in San Diego. They were absolutely beautiful.

Bicarb of soda diluted 1 teaspoon per litre and sprayed kills a lot of fungus and is safe for most plants. Just need to avoid direct sun until the fungus is dead and then rinse spray it off any leaves it gets on.

i don't know anything about bonsai trees but there's an old japanese guy who lives in my apartment complex who does all the maintenance and has a bunch of little trees which he's always tending to.  I was thinking of visiting him some day soon in order to seek some advice with regard to martial arts self defense techniques.  Lately there's been some punks who have been picking on me :sad:

the value of the tree versus the value of a life is overbearing.

THe best solution is to rinse wash the roots, and replant the tree in a new container.

I do have a bonsai and i have that same nold on a diferent plant actually just found it today and am wonderimg myself. Weird coincidence

so far we hit it off great!  I think he likes me and would be glad to teach me his self defense techniques, although he kept mentioning how to wax a car properly which seemed kind of strange to me :confused2:

i suspected that might be the case at first, but this afternoon he's been having me wax a bunch of his old cars he has sitting in a big storage parking lot.  I'm starting to feel like i'm being used for cheap labor at this point.

You know I used to have a bonsai for 10 years. I grew really fond of that little tree.

Than I took a trip around Europe and my GF was going to take care of it. She forgot to water it and it died

Its been like 6 years but it still pisses me off. Imma wake her up now and tell her im still pissed :mad2:


She also made me get rid of my tripping chair. Shit is going down!

Nah that was also 6 years ago. Your Bonsai tread brought it all back up

It was a really nice chair too. Good times where had in that chair you know. Bad times too, but thats not the chairs fault

Man I miss my chair. When we move to a bigger appartment Imma get myself an office and a new tripping chair
