The notions of civic and personal liberties are nice, but I feel the economic policies are at best unrealistic, and at worst irresponsible. Also, a lot of people concoct amalgams of libertarianism and anarchy, or voluntary taxation and things like that, which sound pleasant but are really uninformed if not silly.

It is libertarian philosophy that drugs being legalized will sort themselves out through social Darwinism.

Libertarians are about self reliance. I have never felt the need for big brother to tell me how to live, and persue happiness. Being a slave to a corrupt system is something that i find it hard to abide. The loss of freedom due to taxes, and passing of incrementally small laws that go un noticed until all liberty is gone is The end game. The free market should be free. People should persue happiness, and compete.

Sounds pretty fucked up to me. People don’t social Darwinize quickly. They stick around and drag their entire communities down with them. They steal grandmas OxyContin. They quit their jobs at the factory. You know all this. You live in a drug addled trump shithole

No. I support critical thought, and liberty. Wars on abstract ideas, and human nature seem like a waste of resources that are stolen from me in the first place.

Well those are definitely potential problems. I don't have all of the answers, but letting nature take its course, and the junkies dealing with the consequences of their actions without an inflated government would be a start.
