Hi everyone !
My first post about my first Agar experience.
Recipe i used for Agar:
20g Agar
15g Malt
1lt water
30 min 15 psi.
Sab.
Been sitting at around 18C for about 2 weeks now.
(bit slow?)
It's all fluffy growth, pic number 6 was even growing vertically a good 3mm.
Some were streaked more than others (5).
The spot under the n.5 is lack of Agar that didnt cover entirely the plate.
Can you help me determine what i'm looking at?
Is it all myc?
I was expecting some contam but they all look pretty white and without funky stuff lurking around.
Maybe a better trained eye can pick it up?
it's all cub, var golden halo.

That's looking promising. Take several small transfers from the leading edges quickly and you may start seeing some rhizo growth. Good work

Doesn't look good to me but I'm still new to agar so take my opinion lightly.

Supposed to be but I inoculated 2 other plates and they both have this milky looking crap on them. I'm now positive that the syringe was contaminated from the supplier.
I've ordered new spore.

this is bacteria.
if spores give them more time, at first stage "spore mycelium" looks like that or similar.
