Funny thing is that the left simply has more sense. The right thinks that the bible gave them some sort of super natural understanding of right and wrong. Which has been highly politicized for ages.
Comparing today's bibles with the worlds oldest bible, there are parts completely added or deleted. Whole sentences, words, so it's obviously bullshit.

It’s a misconception that people here are talking to try and change each other’s minds.
The christian right is working on electing Trump the new Messiah so we can see how much they believe any of the things they've used to claim authority over others.

I do not think even lobotomy would change their minds. The religious right has been brainwashed since birth.

Unfortunately VA republicans wont let go of the fucking religion when they're in power and ttrry to govern as theocracy-lite.
Virginians need Democrats in power for sensible cannabis legislation. We tried to decrim even small, personal use amounts last year several times and the GOP blocked it every time.

I don’t know if you noticed but the republicans lost control of virgjnia and you can thank the gun nuts for that.
Gun control was the major issue in the last election and you guys lost. Virginia gun nuts yelling that the democrats will take away your guns and the people of virginia said “that’s cool with me.”
This rally was a great opportunity to round up some domestic terrorists too. Win win all around.

It’s hilarious. The gun masturbators just can’t get their heads out of their own asses well enough to protect their hobby. Time after time their guns rights get chipped away, yet they can’t seem to muster an honest response to the criticism.
I was talking to a guy the other day that bragged about being some NRA super member on account of donating so much. He couldn’t fathom that the NRA uses his money to keep gun companies in business, not protect his rights to own guns. I’m sure when your in that deep financially you’ll never see the light.
For the record, I’m all for law abiding gun ownership.

A friend of mine works in the NRA building in fairfax and told me he saw a bunch of NRA staffers leaving the office with boxes a few weeks ago. They got laid off. I don’t think the NRA is doing very well these days.

This sums it up perfectly. Imagine being so fearful and cowardly that you need to walk around with a gun.

If the left had guns too the right would be singing a much different tune.
Like when Reagan passed sweeping gun control laws in California because he was scared of the black panthers.

But isn't attempting to keep gun companies in business the same as protecting the purchasing of guns for citizens?
Or is there some other fashion to help gun companies other than making sure their guns can be purchased?

No, not at all.
If you wanted to promote gun ownership you’d be giving out money to citizens so that they could buy the firearms they prefer, not artificially picking companies for your gun lobby to back.
And maybe, you’d stop lobbying and start building relations with those who want you gone so that you could responsibly guide the hobby forward in the context that society is demanding. Instead, it’s all about profits.
See the disconnect? Ones about gun companies and profits. The other is about citizens.
