white fuzzy mold on moist cubensis. now died off. safe or not?

I received these somewhat moist cubensis and let them sit too long and some white cobweb-ish fuzzy looking mold grew on them.  I then left them in an air conditioned room for a few weeks and all the fuzzy mold died (picture shows after-effects).  How safe are they to eat?

If it were me I prob wouldn't, but what do I know. Even if the mold is dead the toxic compounds it produced while alive are most likely still there

ya that was my first thought also.  I'm kind of hoping someone will say something to the effect of: "it's  probably not that bad"

and then I can just do a super slow ingestion process to feel out how my stomach responds.

or alternately,  someone says "100% do not eat them because they could easily kill you with only one bite".

when the fuzzy stuff was growing on them,  they did NOT look safe whatsoever...  it was like the fuzzy stuff growing off of a rotting piece of fruit.

You can grind them up and make a tea if you're not down to ingest them as is

It's probably not that bad...:wink:
